Conventional crossflow filtration struggles once solids rise, and the usual alternatives, filter presses and vacuum filters, need filter aid. Dynamos uses rotating discs to keep the membrane surface clean, so it can concentrate solids far beyond normal crossflow limits while still producing a filtrate clear enough to bottle directly.

  • No filter aid: an alternative to filter presses or vacuum filters on high-solids products
  • No oxygen pick-up, with very limited nitrogen sparging
  • No loss of red colour in wines (absorbance at 520 nm)
  • Open, fully inspectable self-cleaning discs and a calibrated backwash system
  • Very low energy use compared with conventional crossflow
  • Compact and modular, from 1 m² to 20 m² and in multiples
